NEACAC - New England Association for College Admission Counseling
Opening doors to higher education across New England.

NEACAC is fully committed to the opportunity for all students to attend college or university. The IDEAL (Inclusion, Diversity, Education, Access and Leadership) Award seeks to recognize an individual, institution or organization who has demonstrated consistent and long standing commitment to issues of access including but not limited to: students of color, first generation college students, low income students, undocumented students and LBGTQ students.

The award recipient or institution should be a member of NEACAC. Nominees, either individuals or institutions, should be actively engaged in activities associated with access.  The committee will consider many factors including long standing commitment and positive outcomes for students attending college.
The 2015 IDEAL award winner was Theresa Urist from Prospect Hill Academy, Cambridge, MA. She was presented with the award at NEACAC's Annual Meeting and Conference at Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI on June 4th.
Please consider submitting a nomination for the 2016 IDEAL Award.  See the "Nomination" page for the form.
