National Action Week is a chance for all college admission counseling professionals to advocate for the students we serve and the counselors needed to help students prepare for postsecondary opportunities! This National Action Week will focus on one of NACAC’s policy priorities: Access to quality school counseling. We need YOU to help!
Our objective for the week is to urge federal legislators to cosponsor the Pathways to College Act and support the bill’s inclusion in the reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act. The Pathways to College Act Affiliate Challenge that began at the 2009 NACAC Conference in Baltimore is still on! NEACAC has climbed up the affiliate challenge graph, but we would like to make significant progress next week and your advocacy efforts are essential to us reaching our goal.
