Massachusetts Senator Karen Spilka introduced Senate Bill 134 that would create a special commission to study and make recommendations concerning the effect of proprietary schools receiving public funds on residents of Massachusetts. The commission would examine practices including advertising, recruitment, credit transfer, and financial aid.
