NEACAC - New England Association for College Admission Counseling
Opening doors to higher education across New England.
Ins and Outs of Getting In

Accepted, Deferred, Wait Listed, Denied. We all know the terms inside and out but how do Admissions Offices actually reach those decisions? The Ins and Outs of Getting In workshop is meant to give secondary school counselors an insider's perspective on how different colleges and universities make their admissions decisions, what different factors influence an admissions outcome, how colleges review transcripts and utilize standardized testing scores, and hopefully answer the most popular question at a college fair: "what does it take to get into your school?"

Choose from multiple program locations and dates all immediately following the College Board fall counselor workshop from 1pm – 4pm:

  • September 21, 2010 at Quinnipiac University, Hamden, CT**
