Apply for a Grant from the

Make a Difference Fund

Deadline December 15th!

Have a new program you would like to bring to your campus/school?

Want to attend a conference but don't have the funding?

Is there a new initiative that would benefit your school community?

Then apply for a grant from the Make a Difference Fund (MADF).

Grants from the MADF are available to all NEACAC members. Past grants have included a college bus tour for charter school students, national conference registration and transportation, and many more.

Supported by NEACAC, the IDEA Committee seeks to increase inclusion, diversity and access to college for all students through programs that directly benefit students, and opportunities for professionals to gain training and information to help underrepresented or under-served populations.

The application deadline is December 15, 2017 (grants must be used between March and August 2018). The application is available here.

Advanced Secondary School Counselor Summer Institute (ASSCSI) Faculty Application is Live!

NEACAC seeks experienced college admissions professionals, college counselors, and school counselors to serve as faculty for ASSCSI 2018. If you have at least five years of experience and are eager to support veteran college and school counselors as they navigate some of the more complex issues in the field, we urge you to apply for one of these positions!

The program takes place over three days in the middle of July and will include a day of college tours. Specific dates and location are to be determined. Faculty will create content for breakout sessions and present workshops to support the selected theme, in addition to participating in a number of planning calls leading up to event.

Please submit your application via the NEACAC website by December 15.

Submit your nominations for the 2018 ballot!

Each year the Nominating Committee seeks interested NEACAC members for elected positions on the Governing Board.  For the 2018 ballot, the Nominating Committee will seek to elect a President-elect from the college side. We will also elect one Assembly Delegate from the college side.

Additionally, we will seek to fill two positions of Alternate Assembly Delegate from both the college side and high school side. This person will take part in our Leadership Development Institute during the Summer and fill in as a Delegate, should a Delegate need to withdraw.
Please submit your nomination at neacac.memberclicks.net/nominate

Nominations are due by November 15, 2017
