About Government Relations Advisory Committee (GRAC)

The Chair is submitted by the President-Elect and is approved by the Governing Board. The Government Relations Advisory Committee (GRAC) is a sign of NEACAC's eagerness to work with the policy process, legislative and otherwise. GRAC's goal is to suggest a strategy for becoming actively involved in influencing policy that is important to NEACAC both at the local and federal level.

Rhode Island Advocacy Day on the Hill

 

Tuesday, March 20th, 11am

Meeting at Marriott Downtown

1 Orms Street, Providence, RI

 

The goal of this day is to present ourselves to members of the RI Senate and Representative Education Committee

as resources for any legislation involving students’ access to higher education. Lunch and parking will be provided.

 

11am – 2:00pm – Training provided to prepare for the day on the hill.

All participants will be paired with another who is experienced in advocacy

2:00 – 4:00 – Transportation to meetings at the Capital Building.
