 NEWCOMERS PROGRAM

The Newcomers Program is designed for first-time Conference attendees. Whether you are new to the profession or have been in the field for years, you and a group of peers will be paired with two mentors to learn how to make the most of AMC and how to stay involved with NEACAC.

On Wednesday, May 31, we will officially welcome you to Keene State College with our Newcomers Welcome. The Welcome will review what to expect at the conference, share how to maximize your experience, and facilitate discussions within your mentor group.

Interested in being a mentor?

If you have been in the counseling profession for three or more years and have attended at least one NEACAC conference, we invite you to submit a Mentor Application by April 21, 2017. You will share your experiences and expertise with the Newcomers while helping to guide them through their first AMC! We ask that you commit to all program events:

Nominate a colleague!

Do you have a colleague who would make a great mentor? Send their name(s) to Steve Genovese [email protected] or Heidi Merrill [email protected], or fill out the nomination form.
